  • 有機無農薬水稲栽培年数の経過に伴って土壌・水稲・雑草・動物はどう変化するか?,2014年07月 ~ 2018年03月,有機無農薬水稲栽培年数の経過に伴って土壌・水稲・雑草・動物はどう変化するか?

    ある農家が開発した有機稲作農法のしくみを研究した結果、以下のことが分かった。
    この農法は、施肥も除草もしないために極めて労働節約的であり、そのことが農家経営に大いに貢献していた。
    この農法に転換した当初の米収量は、慣行農法よりもかなり低いが、農法を継続するうちに慣行の農法の収量に近づいた。これは、冬春雑草のすきこみを継続することで、イネが吸収できる土壌窒素量やリン酸量が増えたのが一つの理由であった。この農法を継続すると、イネと競合する雑草が減り、稲作害虫の天敵であるクモ類が増えた。
