Profile
I have been working as an associate professor of Yamagata University since 2004. I worked at the Aichi Sangyo junior college as a full-time lecturer from 2002 to 2003. My specializations are in information education and the information society theory. My current research projects are; "Surveillance study on the effective information sharing system relating to child safety" sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. This project promotes initiatives to prevent crimes by tracking children's activities for parents, through the use of a mind maps and real-time GPS. Research to contribute to the correction of disparities of information literacy in Higher Education" sponsored by the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research. In this project, the study surveys the relationships between the disparities of information literacy in higher education and the family backgrounds, lifestyles, favorite subjects, etc; and "Research on the relationship between the Information Technology and NEET (young people Not in Education, Employment or Training), job-hopping part-timers, truancy and students" sponsored by the Mitsubishi Foundation Research Grants. In this project, the study examines the relationships between job orientation and the family backgrounds, lifestyles, favorite subjects, etc. My B.A. and M.A. degrees were obtained at the department of Education of the Tokyo Gakugei University.
