My research interests are in applied linguistics and second language acquisition, with a particular focus on individual differences in language learning. My current research investigates cognitive diversity among second language learners, particularly differences in mental imagery ability and aphantasia, and how these differences may influence vocabulary learning, comprehension, and language learning strategies. My broader research interests include English language education, communicative language teaching, corpus linguistics, and the development of effective materials and learning environments for university EFL students.
